Busch Gardens Tampa is a hidden gem most people forget about when visiting Florida! Here we are to tell you three reasons why you need to add it to your list of places to visit this summer.
The Summer Celebration!
Right now through August 7th at Busch Gardens Tampa the Summer Celebration is happening. As a part of this awesome event there are some special and exciting offerings.
Summer Celebration Fireworks: These are run ever Friday, Saturday and Sunday which light up the beautiful Tampa sky. Fireworks are a summer staple and just a great way to end your day at BGT.
Complimentary Beer Samples: Who does not like FREE? Until August 7th guest visiting the park will have the opportunity to have two free 7oz samples from Pantopia Drinks & Snacks. Ages 21 and up with your park ticket that is it!\
Amazing shows: Gwazi Beats, Celebrity Talent Showcase and Cirque Electric. We checked out the Celebrity Talent Showcase which featured some favorite talents from America's Got Talent and we LOVED IT.
DJ Party: Throughout the park you will see five DJ party stations. These are areas set up to play music, fun activities for everyone and provide a fun summer time experience.
2. The Thrills:
Busch Gardens has some of the best thrill rides! I have been a few times and my favorite is Cheetah Hunt. Such classic and fun thrilling attraction but there is a new beast in town. Iron Gwazi... hands down is amazing. It is the newest attraction in the park and truly a thrill! It's a hybrid coaster so it's a smooth ride reaching up to 76 MPH. There is also coasters like Tigris, Sheikra, Montu and Kumba! BGT is definitely for the thrill lovers.
3. Affordability:
With the distance to Orlando and other local cities BGT is for sure a affordable theme park destination. They offer one day tickets all the way to season passes. The Fun Card is a great option as it allows you to visit all of 2022 with some blockout dates. I also love that if you do purchase a day ticket if you stop by Guest Services you can discuss your options on upgrading to a season pass when leaving.
There is also an all day dining option that we highly recommend. For $49.99 for adults and $24.99 for kids this deal allows you to eat all day for the one low price. If you start to add up what it would cost if you at each time you would be spending way over the amount paid for this deal. With all day dining you get one entree, one side or dessert and one soft drink or bottle of water at participating dining locations. You can dine once every 90 minutes which in the Florida heat hunger and snacks are a must.
Overall, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is a great theme park for everyone even the kids. They offer some smaller attractions for young ones and even have a Sesame Street area perfect for toddlers where they have daily shows. There is animals to see and learn about and the train is so cute to check out the Serengeti. We cannot recommend this park enough to anyone visiting or locals. It's a smooth drive, great environment and overall fun!
