The Holiday cheer has arrived to Downtown Orlando! There is so much to do and see around Eola Wonderland and we got to experience all the fun. This is all free to experience which makes it even better for families to come out and enjoy.
There are sparkling lights and decor spread around Lake Eola! This is always a fan favorite each year. My kids love seeing this and there were some fun new additions this year keeping us all excited as we walked Lake Eola. You cannot forget the amazing Wonderland Christmas Tree. The tree has a special show every hour on the hour starting at 5:45 PM until 9:45 PM. The show features synchronized lights and music leaving you in awe and ready for holiday fun.
Need to finish your holiday shopping? Head to the Holiday Market to shop with local artisans and vendors. The market is set on the east side of Lake Eola and brings a great addition this year allowing everyone to grab what they need while supporting businesses. There are food trucks, clothing vendors, candles, accessories and more. There is even a special shop set up to sell Downtown Orlando merchandise to help share your love for the City Beautiful! The Holiday Market is open select dates until December 23rd.
Two exciting new additions this year are Snowfall and Santa! At the Eola House you can find Santa himself with his elves to meet you and take photos. The personal and intimate meet and greet was cute and the girls loved it. Santa meets select dates through December 23rd and is a must do. Just steps from Santa himself, you can experience the snowfall right in the streets of Downtown Orlando. There is a DJ to play festive holiday tunes with snowfall happening on set schedules for 15-minute intervals. We spent a bulk of our time here plus the city had a balloon artist and tattoos available for the kids.
Each year this event just gets better and better. There are free concerts and shows happening at the amphitheatre. Bringing the joy of the holiday season plus Holiday Movies in the Park happening every Friday in December. Time is running out to enjoy the holiday fun in Downtown Orlando.
