The holidays are such a precious time. You get to celebrate and spend time with loved ones plus more. Seaworld Orlando has kicked off their Christmas Celebration this year and it does not disappoint.
Seaworld Christmas Celebration is happening select dates through January 3rd. The event does not have an extra fee associated however there is a Tasting Sampler Lanyard that I highly recommend.
This lanyard allows you to visit the amazing food booths located throughout the celebration. A five punch lanyard is $40 and a 10 punch lanyard is $55. Each punch allows you enjoy the food and sample beverages at designated carts. For the price it is totally worth it to grab the lanyard for the day because you will want to try it all. The food and drink options spread amongst the event are seriously a must try. There are over 10 booths to try each offering something unique. You have cookies and hot cocoa, Po'Boys, Beignets, Pernil, Doughnuts, and more! That sampler lanyard comes in handy to allow you to try what you want. Huge bonus... I never had to pull out my wallet. A simple scan and punch of my lanyard and we were set to go!
You will find festive characters roaming the park but also you can visit fan favorites. Santa meets in the Waterfront area and you can find Rudolph and Friends along with Bumble near the IceBreaker coaster. I highly recommend visiting them first or earlier in the day as the lines can get long.
We cannot forget the shows! Elmo's Christmas Wish was absolutely adorable and a fun family show. It includes several of your kids favorite Sesame Street favorites as Elmo takes us on a fun adventure. Plus back in Sesame Street Land you can catch the fun Sesame Street Christmas Parade. The Winter Wonderland on Ice is a fan favorite ice skating show and O Wondrous Night is back to tell the story that everyone loves. I suggest arriving 15-20 minutes before showtime as they do fill fast. Do not skip the shows here at Seaworld Orlando.
There are millions of lights spread throughout the park giving it the holiday spirit. You will even find dancing christmas trees right on the lake. They have set showtimes throughout the day so I suggest downloading the Seaworld Orlando App. This app is free and easy to use. It will help you navigate the park, understand showtimes, and even find food options.
You are probably wondering how can you do it all in one day. You can but you will likely want to go back. I suggest carving out at least two days to experience it all or consider a Seaworld Orlando Annual Pass or Fun Card. We had so much fun visiting the Christmas Celebration this year and know we will be back. Because seriously who doesn't love holiday fun!
Until our next expedition......
