Exploring the Wonders of Aquatica Orlando: A Must-Visit Water Park Destination!

It's summer and Florida is HOTTTT! I have made the vow to stay cool in anybodies water and I am holding to that. Aquatica Orlando, a premier water park in Florida, offers an unparalleled experience for visitors of all ages. This is not by any means our first visit but each time we have a BLAST!

Here are three reasons why you will want to visit Aquatica Orlando this summer and beyond:

One compelling reason to visit Aquatica is its unique blend of thrilling water rides and attractions. The park features a variety of exhilarating slides, such as the Reef Plunge, which sends riders through clear tubes surrounded by playful dolphins, and Ihu’s Breakaway Falls, the tallest multi-drop tower slide in Orlando. These heart-pounding attractions provide an adrenaline rush that water enthusiasts won’t want to miss. There are fan favorites like Roa's Rapids a thrilling action river with two entrances plus the Walhalla Wave a raft ride with a 42 inch height requirement.

Another reason to visit Aquatica Orlando is its family-friendly environment. The park caters to visitors of all ages with attractions like Turi Kid's Cove, a play area designed specifically for younger children, and the lazy river, Loggerhead Lane, which offers a relaxing float through a lush, tropical landscape. Additionally, the park provides ample shaded areas and cabanas for families to unwind and take a break from the sun. I loved having a cabana and there are several locations you can choose from that can even put you in your ideal spot. Cabana Rentals come with a refrigerator stocked with ice cold water, rental towels, a safe, plenty of seating, ceiling fan and a server if you need. This inclusive atmosphere ensures that every member of the family can have a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Lastly, Aquatica Orlando is known for its commitment to animal conservation and education. The park is home to a variety of marine life, including Commerson’s dolphins, exotic fish, and tropical birds. Through interactive exhibits and educational programs, visitors can learn about these fascinating creatures and the importance of preserving their natural habitats. By visiting Aquatica, guests not only enjoy a fun-filled day but also gain a deeper appreciation for marine life and the efforts needed to protect it.

New this year Aquatica has a after hours event called Aqua Glow. This event transforms the park into a vibrant, illuminated wonderland, providing guests with an unforgettable evening of fun and relaxation. Aqua Glow is a perfect blend of entertainment, music, and dazzling lights, creating an enchanting atmosphere that appeals to visitors of all ages.

During Aqua Glow, the park's waterslides, wave pools, and lazy rivers are bathed in a spectrum of neon colors, creating a surreal and magical ambiance. The glow-in-the-dark theme is complemented by upbeat music, live DJ performances, and interactive light shows, making it a lively and energetic affair. Guests can enjoy their favorite attractions under the stars, with the added thrill of the colorful illuminations enhancing the overall experience. The event also features special food and beverage options, allowing visitors to indulge in delicious treats while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. Guest receive free complimentary soft drinks and can expect low waits due to the limited capacity. You can enter the park as early as 6pm with the official party running 8pm-11pm.
