One thing about Florida you can find vacation homes almost everywhere. While we love our hotel stays there are several perks to renting a vacation home. We had the chance to visit Encore Resort at Reunion located in Reunion,FL. You may be asking where is Reunion?
Reunion, FL is located just outside the Orlando area. It is about a 5-10 minute drive to Walt Disney World, 25 minute drive to Universal Orlando or Seaworld, and about a 40 minute drive to Legoland FL and Peppa Pig Theme Park. The Resort does offer complimentary theme park shuttle service to Seaworld Orlando, Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando which helps save money on those parking fees.
Encore Resort offers vacation homes ranging from 4 bedrooms to 13 bedrooms per home. Each home offers a similar floor plan but inside the homes is where you will see owners creative sides come to life. I love a home with nice upgrades anew these homes have all that and MORE!
The house we toured had a Marvel themed game room which had taken over the garage space. There was a Star Wars themed room perfect for a lover of the franchise. A Disney Mickey Mouse room, theatre room and more!
Here are a few bonus points to renting a home at Encore Resort:
-Plenty of space for big families. When traveling in a group it can get pricey splitting into multiple hotel rooms.
-The bigger homes sometimes come with double amenities which means double refrigerators, double ovens, and sometimes double dishwashers to accommodate large parties.
-All homes offer at least one bedroom on the lower level to make it easier for those who may have issues with steps or mobility. I found this extremely accommodating and a huge bonus to renting here.
Even though homes come with a pool there is a 10-acre waterpark located on property for Resort Guest! It features a pool, three water slides and a kids splash area perfect for younger kids. You can even rent a cabana for the day here if you want some extra comfort. There are plenty activities daily to help on down days when not visiting theme parks as well as on-site dining options.
