The Ultimate Guide to Planning Your Stay at Omni Orlando Resort

Updated: Feb 1

The amount of times I have seen this resort and gone.. WOW! I want to stay there I could not even tell you. We recently had the opportunity to stay at this amazing Resort and we cannot wait to go back. Nestled in the Champions Gate area, The Omni Orlando Resort is stretched over 50 acres and features amazing amenities that will leave you in awe.

The Resort is close to Orlando attractions like Walt Disney World which is about a 15 minute drive or even Legoland and Peppa Pig Theme Park which are about 40 minutes away. Universal Orlando and Seaworld are about a 30 minute drive but all still within a great distance of this resort.

Upon arrival you have the option to valet or self-park at the hotel. You are greeted with a gorgeous lobby offering you beautiful views of the golf range, adult pool and resort grounds. Check in is smooth and seamless. I do recommend arriving earlier to begin enjoying the resort amenities especially if on a shorter stay.

Lets talk the things we absolutely loved!

The Rooms

We were in a Executive King Suite. These rooms feature a bedroom with one king bed, desk and seating with a separate living space. In the living space there is a pull out sofa, tv, table area. The best part is the double balcony, there is one in the bedroom and one in the living space. As a family of four our room had ample space for us all to move around and I loved that the tub and shower were separate.

I loved that there were robes in the room for us to lounge in. Plus if you have a bigger family the resort does have two and three bedroom villas as a option. Something to note is that in Winter 2023 the hotel is opening an addition with more rooms which is going to be great for bringing more Guest in to experience Omni Orlando.

The Pools

The resort has several pool areas and we checked them all out. If you have smaller kids there is a kids pool area that features smaller slides and lower water levels. As a toddler mom this was great for my almost two year old. The hotel also has a wave pool, family pool, lazy river and adults only pool. We spent a lot of time enjoying each area and we all agreed that the wave pool was our favorite.

The Food

Omni Orlando offers several dining options including several bars and in room dining. We had dinner at David's Club which had a amazing food and views of the resort. We started off with their wings and bread which I recommend trying both flavors. The kids menus had great options as well. For my main course the short rib did not disappoint paired with an amazing glass of wine. I finished dinner with a French Kiss cocktail and a Pecan a La Mode dessert.

If you are wanting a quick to-go option or morning food options check out Broadway's Deli. They had delicious coffee, pastries and subs for lunch.

The Amenities

Omni Orlando has literally something for everyone is all I hear in my head. They have a fitness center with state of the art equipment, a spa where you can go to relax, plus golf if you care to enjoy. Kids wise they have the Camp Omni which has activities spread throughout each day some free and some with additional cost. There is even a night option for parents to check their kids in while they dine or explore the resort.

If the family would like some activities together they have mini golf, surrey bikes that you can rent to explore the resort, an arcade, a playground and even basketball.

I honestly cannot think of one negative thing about our stay here besides I wish it was longer. There are some things we missed but cannot wait to go back and explore this gorgeous resort more. Omni Orlando Resort at Championsgate offers great packages for couples, families or even reunions. Add them to your list of places to stay when you visit Orlando!

Until our next expedition.....
